Andrew Breitbart (1969-2012)

A heartfelt good riddance to a genuine bastard. “Natural causes,” they say, but there was never one single natural thing about that man. But you know what they say, when one bastard dies, another bastard is born to take his/her place…

Well… he went out with a roar. His dreams of becoming another Rush Limbaugh never came to pass….

    Thank goodness.

I can’t help it, ellroon… my only genuine response is “good riddance to bad rubbish.” I do not consider Breitbart to be better in any significant way than Rush Limbaugh, and yes, if the latter dies within my lifetime, I’ll dance on his grave, too.

In your political career, and in mine, we have fought like crazy for what we believe in. But we have never deliberately deceived or tricked people, or brought them or their organizations to premeditated harm. Some things are just evil, and some people offer little else. To Hell with Breitbart and others like him.

If he had targeted politicians I wouldn’t have had a problem with him, as such attacks are part of the package when you run for office, i.e. you choose to make yourself a target.

He didn’t, he went after the little people and then justified it by linking them to politics. It isn’t muckraking when you bring your own manure, it’s pollution.

I’ll never forgive him for killing ACORN using (apparently) cut-and-pasted videos, refusing to release the raw videos. ACORN did some good in the world. Breitbart did only shit in the world. If I believed in a Hell, I could mentally consign him there, but I don’t, so I’ll have to settle for his death at an early age as a kind of justice.
