Romney Buys Michigan (Barely) And Arizona

… for the low, low price (as of end of January; newest figure I can find) of $18.7 million. And that’s just his campaign, not counting the super PACs. Of course, it’s money he doesn’t have in his campaign fund; he’s burning through it faster than he’s collecting it.

In GOP primaries, Romney took Michigan, his home state, by about 41%-38%, and Arizona by about 47%-27%.

We make much of the late great President Abraham Lincoln as a child of poverty, living in a log cabin, diligently practicing his sums using charcoal on a shovel blade.

What will the Romney version of that myth sound like?

“What will the Romney version of that myth sound like?” Ah, adding up the Cadillacs in the various homes and subtracting, the BMW and Jag parked in his son’s garage?

… and the only time Romney calls a spade a spade is when he plays poker, where every chip represents a corporation…
