Suck It, Toomey!

(suckittoomey suckittoomey suckittoomey suckittoomey suckittoomey…)

Apologies to readers too young to remember a TV comedy show called Laugh-In, which usually contained a segment called “Sock it to me!”

But I’m not talking about anything to laugh at. I’m talking about the Super Committee and Rep. Sen. Pat Toomey’s (R-Stupidity) tax plan, which would

  • not only retain but deepen the Bush tax cuts… but only for the top 1 percent,
  • keep total tax revenues the same as they are now.

In other words, if your income is a quarter-million bucks a year or more, it’s a great deal for you. The rest of us are served shit for dinner.

So this is my response to Pat Toomey: “Suck it, Toomey!”

What is this 49-year-old child doing on a committee empowered to establish the destiny of millions of Americans? Can’t the GOPers at least appoint someone who is not just fucking STOO-PID?

i suspect that toomey will end up being a one term senator. he’s much too conservative to PA. the only reason he got in was because he wasn’t running against an incumbant (specter was defeated in the primary) and it happened to be 2010, a high-water mark year for the right.

also, my wife and i had to fly back to kazakhstan at the last minute just before the election (too late to get an absentee ballot), so neither of us could vote against him. i’m sure that totally made all the difference.

Thanks, ‘noz… “Rep.” corrected to “Sen.”

I’m sure it’s all your fault that Toomey became a Senator. 🙂

I saw excerpts from a couple of his 2010 campaign speeches; he really is a sorry SOB even at his best. I thought I’d never be sorry to see Specter gone, but Toomey is demonstrably worse.

well he was a rep before he became a senator, so the mistake is understandable.

i still remember fondly the day that pat toomey decided to have dinner in the same restaurant/bar that the philly chapter of drinking liberally always met.
