Things Go Badder With Koch

Do you think the Keystone XL tar sands pipeline is bad? Then you’ll really love it when you discover what company is to be its primary customer: an affiliate of Koch Industries. Now do you understand why none of the high-ranking pols will come out against the dirtiest pipeline ever proposed? They’re all Koch-suckers, grabbing campaign money hand-over-fist.

Moreover, commenter jedimsnbcko19 on the thread to the post linked above points us to an article by Joe Duggan of the Omaha World-Herald revealing that a lawsuit in U.S. District Court by several environmental groups accuses the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the U.S. State Department of allowing TransCanada, the company building the pipeline, to begin clearing the way before public comment was solicited or final approval obtained.

I hope these people get sucked into their own pipeline. Feet first, so they’ll have a few seconds to think about it.
