His own words say it better than I ever could.

    Paul Krugman’s point
    is pithy indeed.
    What a pity it’s one
    The “liberal press” won’t heed.

Our very own Mad Kane rhyme… thank you, Mad!

I’m afraid O-bummer may be on his way to negotiating away Medicare. If he does that, I make no promises that what I do next will be lawful.

    You’re very welcome.

I doubt don’t trust Obama on this … or on much of anything these days. When I voted for him (with Hillary out of the picture) I worried that he’d be too weak and corporatist. But he turned out to be rather worse than I feared.

Mad, no one is more disappointed in Obama than I am. He is a superb speaker; at least we don’t have to listen to GeeDubya anymore. But Obama has no more integrity than Dub had, especially when it comes to protection of Americans’ civil liberties and civil rights. A president who would secretly put out a “hit contract” on an American citizen, with nothing even resembling due process, does not deserve our support… and I will not vote for him in 2012. Well, maybe if Sarah is the GOP candidate… 🙄
